POLYSEAL (PLASTIC FELT) range of high performance waterproofing membranes is manufactured with selected APP and other polymers. The blend of these polymers imparts high chemical resistance and retards the process of ageing associated with UV exposure while at the same time retaining all the mechanical properties.
It consists of high performance APP polymer modified bitumen with high softening point and high penetration to make it ideal for waterproofing. The center cores of the membranes are made with 90 and 100 microns thick HMHDPE films. The polymeric bitumen is coated on both sides with a 20 microns thermofusible HMHDPE film. The HMHDPE film is the reinforcement barrier against water and moisture.

Bituseal APP Water Proofing Membrane is uniquely formulated pre-fabricated waterproofing membrane with spun bonded polyester mat/Glass fiber as a core.
A R Bitu seal has an excellent resistance to weather and ageing. The core of non woven polyester mat offers an excellent tensile strength, elongation and a superior lap joint strength. The polymer modification of bitumen with Atactic Polypropylene (APP) results an excellent resistance to hot and cold temperatures.
Use of A R Bitu seal forms an impervious, flexible waterproofing layer which can withstand normal movement of structure without showing any deterioration and serve for a prolonged period of time.
A R Bitu seal is normally used in protected roofing and waterproofing applications in a single layer system and is also recommended as base layer in multilayer system in various applications, Including damp-proofing.
