ARE ENAMEL- CT is a thermoplastic polymeric coating from plasticization of coal tar pitch, coal and its distillates followed by addition of insert filler. ARE ENAMEL- CT meets the requirements of AWWA: C203,BS-4264 & IS – 10221.
SALIENT FEATURES ARE ENAMEL-CT used with ARE PRIMER –B Glass Fiber inner wrap and ARL WRAP( Coal tar impregnated glass fiber outer wrap) ensure: (1) permanent corrosion protection, (2) resistance to soil bacteria and marine organism (3) resistance to cathodic disbanding, (4) low moisture absorption, (5) good electrical insulation, (6) insolubility in hydrocarbon, (7) excellent adhesion to metal, (8) retention to form under soil pressure, (9) good flexibility and temperature susceptibility (10) inertness to soil chemicals etc.
